Ending the season with a World Record: Are Ladies playing better than Mens?

LPGA Jin Young Ko reach historical 63 Greens in a row!

and win CME GROUP Tour Championship 1'500.'000.- USD first prize.

In my best seller Golf Manual "La Difference" I write: "The goal of the Golf Swing is to understand and control how to "throw" the ball at the proper height, direction and length and once your body "controls" these 3 elements you shall be able to reach Green in Regulation (GIR). The more Greens you reach the better a player you are and the lowest your score shall be."

According to Dr Lou Riccio there is a correlation between the number of green you reach and the score you play. This correlation is part of CaddiePlayer data solution calculation as (GIRx2-95)+(Dp-DbGIR) = SwingScore.

In order to reach as many Greens in Regulation you should not only control your "Swings" technics but also: The Clubs selection, Slopes direction,  Shots distances, Weather conditions and at last the Hazardous of the bounces.  All in all reaching 18 greens in regulation is unlikely to happen to often! However a good short game (within 60 yds in) will make up a better score! > (4shots Rule Barras-Baradie 2016)

Lou Stagner from Golf Stat Pro quote: "On the PGA Tour statistics, you are more likely to see an ace than to see a player hit all 18 greens. Chances a player hits all 18 greens are: Once every ~582 rounds. Chances of a hole-in-one are: Once every ~563 rounds."

GIR63JinYoung Ko

(Right Graph) PGA Tour most consecutive GIR through the year. Left Jin Young Ko with 63 consecutive GIR!

Steve Fox It Consulting quote: "To put this in perspective. Looking at the last 30 years of Shotlink data, the best streak on the @PGATOUR was 51 consecutive GIR by Bob Lohr in 1992. What Jin Young Ko did was truly incredible!"

In the 80's while I was an apprenticed at Boca Raton FL "International Golf School", I had the privilege/honored to assit PGA "All of Fame" Bill Strausbaugh. I recall Bill speaking about LPGA Mickey Wright telling me that she had the "best Swing ever." I guess now it must be Jin Young Ko!

Top Story: European Tour to become DP World Tour! Golf is booming and CaddiePlayer calling...

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The European Tour group and DP World jointly announced a ground-breaking evolution to their long-term partnership, with DP World becoming the new title sponsor of the group’s main tour from the start of the 2022 season.

Keith Pelley, Chief Executive of the European Tour group, said:

“This announcement is undoubtedly a momentous one in the proud history of our Tour. The launch of the DP World Tour in 2022, coinciding with both of our 50th anniversaries, will herald a new era in global golf, and crucially it will benefit everybody involved – all our players, caddies, fans and partners – as well as making an important contribution to wider society.

ELEVATE THE TOUR IN EVERY WAY

· Biggest prize fund in European Tour history: Overall prize funds in 2022 will be more than US$140 million for all tournaments outside the Majors and World Golf Championships, outstripping the previous all-time pre-pandemic high of US$130 million in 2019. Including the Majors and WGCs, the total prize fund on the 2022 DP World Tour will exceed US$200 million, benefitting all tournaments and all members across all categories.

· New US$2 million minimum tournament prize fund: For the first time, every tournament solely sanctioned by the DP World Tour will have a minimum prize fund of at least US$2 million, ensuring that all members benefit from this boosted investment.

· A record US$10 million prize fund for the 2022 DP World Tour Championship: This will make the season finale – the final Rolex Series tournament of 2022 – the first European Tour event in history outside the Majors and WGCs to feature an eight-figure prize fund.

· A full and comprehensive 12 month schedule: The DP World Tour’s International Schedule for 2022 was also unveiled. It features a minimum of 47 tournaments across 27 different countries from November 2021 to November 2022.

Crans Montana, Home of the Omega European Masters,

What can you do when the European Tour stop at your home town and your Cousin is the Chairman of the event? You run from morning to evening and at night you end at the local pub. Helping Caddies, meeting Players, Coaches, Managers and Entrepreneurs at the end Rasmus Hojgaard + (CaddiePlayer Tom) takes out the 2021 European Masters trophy shooting a final round of 63 (-7) to finish on -14 for the tournament.

Rasmus Hojgaard Putting's data: Avg feet of putts holed 90.75 (Total 363) - (PuttGained +4.8) - (PuttZones 100%, 94.25%, 37.25%, 15.35%)

Overall my highlight was to introduce live on SwissTV the "difference" between PuttGained ( Broadie 2008) and PuttZones (Barras 2011) another approach to measure Putting Performance.

Thanks to our data insider "Matt", for the very first time we could collect the 4 days European Masters Putting data en show them to you what they looks like once converted into PuttZones breakdown. I let you appreciate and learn from it > for more click here > #PuttZones

#PuttGained is based on one distance calculation as #PuttZones is based on four breakdown ratio

My week back on the European Tour finds many London Golf Club leads however Lesbian's Athlete Ryann O'Toole wins at the Scottish open brought me the biggest joy and her brightest smile.

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

I met Ryann O'Toole at Evian back in 2013 sharing a practice round with at the time CaddiePlayerAnais from Switzerland. Ryann got "Intrigued" by what my role was. CaddiePlayer was just born and I was still experimenting its capabilities. She thoughts golf psychology was something I did, I told her I was a Swiss PGA coaching Online.

After Evian 2013 I saw Ryann a few time here and there on the LPGA and since the Instagram World surge start to follow her and learned about her #lesbianscandoanything gender and saw how hard she was into Fitness Training.https://www.instagram.com/ryannotoole/

Back in June I send her a direct message as I saw her putting stats above 30 per round avg and thought you can't win above 30... I offered some assistance she proved me wrong! I assume her new Caddie Micheal Curry had a great influence. Scoring 8 under on the last round reaching all green in Regulations is outstanding. Would she had fill the CaddiePlayer Card it would have showed: SwingScore59!

“I tried to not look at the leaderboard. I tried to just trust in my caddie to guide me whether we needed to lay or get aggressive, stay patient or not.” Ryann O'Toole
