Some One Must be Sixty One ... The Season is not over yet

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

As the European Tour Season ended last week with the Final Race Dubai and with it CaddiePlayer Raphael Jacquelin finishing Sixty One and Gregory Havret 90th. The golf season continue in Asia where CaddiePlayer Jean Luc Burnier is playing on the PGA TOUR CHINA  while others are representing their country at the ISPS HANDA World Cup and not to forget more CaddiePlayer Ladies competing in the first LET Qatar Open.

So it looks like the golf world season as no season any more? As per my world born and raise in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, I recall my Golf/Ski season and what a great time it use to be. By mid november swaping my golf set with my skies, my landscape turning green into white until mid April. It was a time where you needed to switch from smart hands (The Golfer) to smart feet (The Skier) and this time was necessary to reset our Mind and Body and meet other people with different motivation.

Where ever you are I wish you to have a Great Season ending and if you get the Chance to go skiing or winter hicking, Just do it! as taking a break is science beneficiary.

Until next time... Stephane > my CaddiePlayer Golf Season not yet over....

My Miss Understanding behind Quiros lost his tour card 2017

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

From DP World Tour Championship & Final Race Dubai 2016

As Keith Pelley European Tour CEO was announcing "One of the most important initiatives in the Tour's 44 year history" referring to the Rolex Series European Tour 2017 with iconic 7 World class tournaments 7 million purse, I recall 2011, where here in Dubai DP World Championship Alvaro Quiros was the winner of his biggest career check 922.000 Euro reaching 25th in World Ranking.

Earlier in that year (2011) as I was conducting my putting research I got the opportunity to ask Alvaro Quiros about his putting perception of a Short Putt > To my surprise his answer was to up to 3 feet as most of the Tour Pros would double this number. Its only one year later that checking his putting stats I realize that he went within a year from his best 1,76 (one putt per GIR) to his worst 1,86.

In 2013 at the HSBC Shanghai, I tried to approach Quiros to let him know about my research and hopefully make him my first beneficiary, but after telling me to wait in the Club house to speak, to my regret he never shows up...From that time I was indirectly following his career and despite the fact that Quiros was consulting Top coaches I would be curious to understand more how can a player who can pass his driver 300 yds + win 6 European tour title could lose his Tour Card.

Alvaro Quiros personality is a fun, charismatic and I am sure his handsome tall silhouette will be miss as a full time 2017 European Tour Member. I believe he was great for the Tour...

Until next time, Stéphane Barras this week in Dubai assisting Player Raphael Jacquelin.

Inaugural #FBMLO @LET assisting Olympian Gwaldys Nocera

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Abu Dhabi, October 5th 2016

As per the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open survey: "3 words to describe the Inaugural Abu Dhabi Ladies European Tour Event", I answer: Colourful, Innovative, Challenging.

In the meantime, I was honored to start assisting Olympian, Solheim Cup member, 14 LET wins Gwladys Nocera from France. I spend the all week observing, monitoring and implementing the PuttZones basics. Overall Gwaldys finished the event at -12 T8.

During the #FBMLA I noted 12 CaddiePlayers participating and welcome a new register LPGA member Celine Herbin the 2015 Lacoste French Open winner.

I am looking to be part of Gwaldys ultimate goal > LET Hall of Fame... Until then, #IamCaddiePlayer #IamStéphane

Winners or Losers? CaddiePlayer ends with "Jassar" Winners!

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Thanks to Golf by Tour Miss (Fathia and Bernie), I could find great inspiration in their latest blog "Winners or Losers" and I invite you to read it as well to better understand how an outstanding player like Alvaro Quiros is currently out of the 2017 tour card qualifiers.

Luckily, since CaddiePlayer launch in 2013 we only accounted Winners. Being so confident within the CaddiePlayer solution, I even recall on November 27, 2014 offering a CaddiePlayer Tour Card Insurance but to my surprise no one eligible at that time did subscribe in it, if so maybe players such players as Moritz Lampert or Mark Tullo would still be playing the regular European Tour season? This is only pure speculation and if any out there still interested about a CaddiePlayer Tour Card Insurance, let him contact me directly and I will be up to fur fill this Challenge.

The CaddiePlayer regular 2016 European Tour Season is ending with more than Winners. As Gregory Havret secured his Tour card 2017 last months and Raphael Jacquelin still in the momentum for next week Final serie Turkey, I found out, thanks to Gregory Havret Facebook Page, that last week in Portugal they both combine 1000 European Tour Events! As I am currently in Abu Dhabi and just learned last week the Arabic Word "Jassar" = Brave. I can only say that they both are "Jassar Winners".

I wish to all the "Losers" to find within them self the greatness they still possess and to be "Winners" again!

Until next time > #Jazzar #IamCaddiePlayer #IamInAbuDhabi
