Sunday Resurrection: Lets “Rise” together !

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Haikou, Mission Hills China, PGAtourChina, EASTER Sunday.

Happy Easter Resurrection Day from Haikou Opening Season on the PGATourChina where I was a Caddie and CaddiePlayer to new comer Chinese Zou Lin Yun. I scouted Zou during the Shankai Classic Challenge Tour event 2014. Zou has one of the most beautiful golf swing I have witness, his ball striking is pure as a driven snow… from a Ski Teacher perspective I know what it means (I also hold a level 3 ski instructor certificate from Switzerland).

Originally, I was not supposed to Caddie for Zou but as his Caddie Peng could not make it, so then I offer Zou to be the one. I have Caddie several Tour pros in my career, from US Open and British Open Champion Tony Jacklyn, back in the 70’s, to Multiple Asian tour Winner Gaganjeet Bhullard last December Dubai Open. However, with Zou the experience was one of a Kind: First he could not speak a word of English, so we had to find a simple way to communicate efficiently and second there was several issue to deal with, the main was the Gusty Wind on this Trick Sand Belt Trails course. However our Caddie Player chemistry just happen to work perfectly! It was just a pure harmony between us, as Zou was just 100% “Trusting” “Committed” and “Faithfull” to my club selection approval, line reading, and more Caddie stuff, so at the end I was really feeling that we were playing the round together and this is how a perfect Caddie Player relationship should always be. Despite the fact that we missed the cut, I really enjoyed being on the bag and I was satisfied that some of Zou Statistics where outstanding; One of them, was his Medium range Putts, where from 13 attempts, 6 went in the Hole! (This is above Tour Average). After our 36 holes, Zou find a translator to tell me that he was sorry to have miss the cut but he was grateful to have learned so much from this CaddiePlayer experience…… and Resurrection shall come!

“Resurrection”; What a POWERFULL word to start a day!

#IamChristian remind us what it meant to others 2015 years ago. For me, a Christian Born, It first remind me my root, my friends, what is left from my family and all others gathering today for a Remember Mass of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Leaving an Easter weekend 8000 km away from Home, in a Country where the key word is not “Religion” rather “Cultural Practice”, is also a good test of Faith. Thanks to the Internet, I was able to spend some times re-reading about Jesus Christ “Miracle”, an extraordinary event that occurred in Jerusalem 2015 years ago.

I am taking this “Easter” opportunity to write you not because I want you to become a Christian, as you probably already are, but because after reading “The Resurrection of Jesus Christ” from Bible.org, I read the same conceptual key words as within CaddiePlayer motto: “Trust”, “Commitment” and “Faith”. All those conceptual key words with the same purpose in Mind: “Rising”

Rising to a new dimension of “Trust” reading the Bible? Rising to a new dimension of “Commitment” using CaddiePlayer? Or Rising to a new dimension of “Faith” reading this Easter Blog? For sure You will need to have “Trust”, “Commitment” and “Faith” to reach your Heaven.

If today, your will is to Rise to your Heaven, then you should follow your light, like Jesus Christ did in Jerusalem 2015 years ago. Today billions of people will gather to Rise. Today, one golf player will Rise to win the Buick Open PGATourChina opening 2015 season. Will he be a Christian?

Happy Easter to all! Until next time, #IamChristian, #IamCaddiePlayer, Stéphane Barras #IamRisingToday.

Extract from Bible.org > Now, Something happened 2015 years ago, something that has changed the course of history from B.C. (Before Christ) to A.D. (the Latin Anno Domini--the year of our Lord). That “something” was so dramatic it completely changed 11 men’s lives, so that all but one died a martyr’s death. That something was an empty tomb? An empty tomb that a 15-minute walk from the center of Jerusalem would have confirmed or disproved. But even after 2,000 more years of history, a large portion of mankind hasn’t forgotten that empty tomb and the historical record of the resurrection appearances of Jesus Christ.

If you wish to rationalize away the events surrounding Christ and His resurrection, you must deal with certain imponderables.” With this in mind, let’s consider the testimony of a few outstanding historians. These are testimonies of men who are some of the greatest minds of history. Men who were specialists in gathering and evaluating historical evidence. RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico -- Alex Cejka won the Puerto Rico Open on Sunday for his first PGA TOUR title, making a 15-foot birdie putt on the first hole of a five-man playoff. The 44-year-old Czech-born German won in his 287th start on TOUR. A four-time European Tour winner, he birdied four of the first six holes and finished with a 3-under 69 in rainy, windy conditions at Trump International-Puerto Rico.

Cejka and Grillo a bizarre CaddiePlayer situation?

Looking for a PGA Tour Player to become a CaddiePlayer believer is not a simple task. Here I was at the Honda Classic (the week before the Puerto Rico Open) scrolling down the names to whom I could introduce CaddiePlayer solutions.  Luckly, I spoted Cejka that I know from his time on the European tour and more 3 years ago when he requested to me a invitation to play the Omega European Masters which we did send.

To prepare myself and be as convincable as possible I used the Benchmark comparaison between the previouse week winner Hahn and the current player I am targetting, in this Case Cejka. I did use the same strategy with Grillo* a year earlier in Dubai when he finished second the week before Garcia was fisrt and Grillo last.

At the Honda Classic Monday practice day I approached Cejka on the putting green and showed him the benchmark below. These data explain in a glance what is CaddiePlayer about. After a short introduction Cejka quickly understood CaddiePlayer principals and more the importance to perform on Zone3. One week later (yesterday) Cejka won the 5 man playoff by sinking a Zone3 15 footer.

*Ironically, after missing a 3 footer to win, Grillo was in the playOff to loose to Cejka.
