When a Pro from USA putt like a Beginner in EUROPE...

The 2024 Europe LetAccess season is over and with it its law of data. For 7 players* the only data that counted was the "Order Of Merit" or the "Points" reached in order to earn their 2025 LET card or to say the pinnacle of European Golf events. To do so LetAccess Players had to earn at least a Total of 1111,08 points.

To us at CaddiePlayer, we are more interested to "explore" specific data and point out some that we believe worth to look more into it.

"We know for a fact that to make money playing golf there is mainly three data that matters:

GIR, 60Side Prox and Putting Avg."

As CaddiePlayer exists mainly because of the "PuttZones" system and PuttZones claim/sale 29,99 putts Avg or better. Yet when we see a Player with 36+ Avg, we can ask ourself what was going on there?... and when this Player is from the USA we can be even more asking...

Analysing 500,000 rounds submitted into the Golfshake Score Tracker, it can reveal how well golfers across various handicap categories perform on the greens. Looking at the elite level, in 2021, the PGA Tour overall average putts-per-round is 29.05, with Australia's Cameron Smith leading the way at 27.74 ahead of Patrick Reed (27.85), Ian Poulter (27.96), and Jordan Spieth (28.16) > Reference: https://back2basics.golf/blogs/news/putts-per-round-ppr-vs-strokes-gained-putting

Until next time CaddiePlayer/PuttZones = Putting Avg guarantee under 30!
